My sister was complaining about Chicago's "talk like Shakespeare day" on April 23 (of course), that it was just too many "-eths" and "thee" and "thou"s and didn't really sound Shakespearean. [ [http://tinyurl.com/d3krez (requires Javascript and NPR Media Player, sorry)] Well, the two gents showed us (as Chicago politicians well know) that to talk like the bard, you have to double-deal and you get to throw in here and there a well-chosen "You whoreson ass!"

Was the 2007 Two Gents done as Commedia Dell'arte? And is that apostrophe in the right place? Anyway, I saw it with a six-month-old who couldn't take his eyes off it.
